What a tour looks like
The room your child would join
You see the actual classroom during an ordinary part of the day. Look at the materials on the shelves and the outdoor space. This is the room your child would join.
The teachers
Meet the teacher who runs the room. Ask how a day runs from drop-off to pickup. Ask how they handle the first weeks when a child is new.
Your questions
Bring your list. Ask about hours, tuition, pickups, meals, and how we handle a child who is having a hard day. You will see the rooms your child would use and hear how the Spanish runs through the morning. If we do not know an answer on the spot, we follow up.
Before you come
Bring your child if you can. A tour works best when they can see the room and meet the teacher. We welcome children from 13 months to 6 years old in our preschool program, and for summer camp we accept students in grades K-5. Half day runs from 9 a. m. to 1 p. m. with drop-off and pickup at those times.
Ask about the daily schedule and how pickups work. Ask what lunch and rest look like, and how the first weeks are handled when a child is settling in. Ask how you will hear about your child's day and what happens if they are unwell. These answers tell you how the center runs.
